Hoa Cuong Cave – Cat Ba Island
Cat Ba tourism has been attracting a lot of attention from domestic and foreign tourists. In the Hoa Cuong cave, each stalactite figure is associated with a legend envisioned and preserved by Gia Luan. Going forward, through a wooded passageway, visitors arrive at a very large bow-shaped cave entrance. Standing at the entrance of the cave, looking at is a large, quiet space, the cliff radiates cool air, making visitors feel completely comfortable. On the right side of the cave is a massive stalactite stalactite with soft words like a curtain. According to the legend, this place has a lush climate, romantic scenery: the king’s will, the king’s sons and daughters often come down to play and stay at the Hoa Cuong Cave. Through the curtain is to the palace of the king’s daughter. In front of the palace, there are two lions escorting. In the palace, the king’s daughter is lying lullaby on a very beautiful bed. Next to the King’s Daughter Bed is a Fairy Bed, a small and beautiful hidden inside. The illusory light makes stalactites have iridescent colors. Going deep inside is the two stone statue of the two Ong Buddha. People here say that Quan Yin Buddha sent two monks to earth to tell everyone to live a good life. From the fascinating legend to the fancy landscape are all factors that make Hoa Cuong Cave an attractive tourist destination on Cat Ba Island.
In addition, one more highlight for the attraction of the cave is that here archaeologists have unearthed and discovered the fossil teeth of the ancient ape man dating to brass bronze 10 thousand years ago year. The discovery of fossil teeth of ancient gibbons on Cat Ba island is a testament to the existence of the ancient gibbon in Vietnam tens of thousands of years ago. This is a problem that has been debating for hundreds of years by scientists about the existence of ancient ape humans. Since then, the attraction of the cave has been raised many times over.
