Dinh Huong Islet is one of the iconic images of Halong Bay. It is located on the southwestern side of Dau Go Island, about 6 km from the Halong Bay wharf. Dinh Huong Islet is made up of a single massive stone. It takes its English name from the way it resembles an incense burner floating in the middle of the sea. When the tide is low you can see its four supporting stone legs underneath.
Cradled within its majestic setting of sea and islands, Dinh Huong Islet resembles a heavenly symbol dedicated to the earth and sky. Dinh Huong Islet is an outstanding site within Halong Bay that attracts and fascinates visitors to the area.
