Far enough from the mainland to be isolated from normal tourist routes, the Cong Dam area will astound you with the magnificent beauty of its mountain and seascapes. Preserved for around 340 million years it is an outstanding natural geological museum. The Regional Park boasts wonderful limestone mountains, coral reefs, underground lakes and amazing underwater caves. It is also an area of many large, white, sandy beaches with beautiful clear water, including Tra Gioi, Cay Bang and Cat Oan.
The charming old fishing village, with a population of around 120 people, has retained its traditional fishing culture. Local people are glad to share their memorable stories, or you may like to explore the area in a bamboo boat paddled by local women.
Because the landscape here retains many original features and has a very clean environment travellers often come here to go kayaking, fish with fishermen or plant mangroves.
For variety and natural beauty this remarkable area is hard to beat.
To visit this place we recommend taking a Bai Tu Long private boat for a group 6-8 people. It is amazing experience!
